We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping experience
- Engage in effective upselling of products and services to maximise sales opportunities
- Manage social media accounts to promote products and events, increasing brand visibility
- Maintain organised merchandising displays that attract customer attention
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring correct cash handling and receipt issuance
- keep on top of upkeep of cars for sale.
- Assist in stock management, including replenishing shelves and organising stockroom areas
- Utilise organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently throughout the working day
- Support in managing social media platforms by creating engaging content and responding to customer interactions
- Demonstrate excellent time management to ensure all duties are completed within scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience with social media management is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
- Bilingual abilities are preferred to assist a diverse customer base
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers professionally
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product displays and optimise sales opportunities
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
