Marketing Apprentice
Location: Rossendale (Office-based with some flexibility)
Salary: Apprenticeship wage (dependent on age & experience)
Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated Marketing Apprentice to kickstart a career in digital marketing.
You’ll gain hands-on experience across social media, content creation, ecommerce, and campaign delivery while working closely with an experienced marketing team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Support the creation of engaging content for websites, blogs, emails, and product listings
- Assist with social media content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X
- Help produce photo and video content for campaigns
- Contribute ideas for seasonal campaigns and promotions
Social Media
- Assist with planning and scheduling content
- Monitor trends and suggest new content ideas
- Support community management by responding to messages and comments
- Track and review social media performance
Marketing Support
- Assist with campaign planning and execution
- Update website content and promotional messaging
- Work with internal teams to ensure content is accurate and consistent
- Maintain brand identity across all platforms
Learning & Development
- Develop knowledge across key marketing areas (SEO, email, analytics, paid social)
- Stay up to date with trends, tools, and ecommerce developments
- Bring new ideas to support business growth
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong interest in marketing, social media, and content creation
- Good written communication skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to get involved
Desirable:
- Experience using social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)
- Basic photo, video editing, or content creation skills
- Interest in sustainability or ecommerce
- Basic understanding of digital marketing
- Happy with writing and proof reading articles
