Location: Beaminster, Dorset
Pay: £13.04 – £24.23 per hour (Equivalent to circa £36,000 per annum + 4% pay rise due 1st July)
Hours: 12-hour shifts (06:00am – 18:00pm / 18:00pm – 06:00am) on a 4-week rotating pattern
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting a Process Packing Operative to join a large bioscience manufacturing site based in Beaminster, Dorset.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with previous stock control, despatch, or factory experience who are looking for consistent, long-term work. This role offers an immediate start with opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Please note, this role involves operating machinery to package specialist ingredients, requiring good attention to detail and physical fitness.
The 4-Week Rotating Rota:
- Week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed (Nights: 6pm–6am) & Sat, Sun (Days: 6am–6pm) – 60 hours
- Week 2: Thu, Fri (Nights: 6pm–6am) – 24 hours
- Week 3: Mon, Tue, Wed (Days: 6am–6pm) & Sat, Sun (Nights: 6pm–6am) – 60 hours
- Week 4: Thu, Fri (Days: 6am–6pm) – 24 hours
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating packing machinery and keeping material losses below 0.01%
- Producing finished products to a precise potency specification
- Managing stock control and preparing finished items for despatch
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation
- Working daily alongside the Packing Room Supervisor, QC Lab, and safety teams
- Standing for long periods and carrying out manual tasks in a factory environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a despatch, stock control, or factory environment (essential)
- Good basic maths and English skills (numerate and literate)
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
- Strictly no respiratory problems due to fine powder ingredients on-site
- Reliable, with own transport due to the site location in Beaminster
