PI-Gen is a progressive and patient-focused pharmacy group committed to delivering high-quality clinical services within the community setting. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the Services Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about community healthcare and wishes to further develop their experience in delivering pharmacy services within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting and delivering a range of pharmacy services, working closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key responsibilities will include delivering in:
- Pharmacy First services
- New Medicine Service (NMS)
- Discharge Medicines Service (DMS)
- Contraception consultations
- Service administration and operational support
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should:
- Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician/ACT
- Have a good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Be proactive, professional, and target driven
- Have an interest in developing clinical service delivery within community pharmacy
- Previous experience with NHS pharmacy services is desirable but not essential
