Bruce Lindsay Coal are currently looking for a HGV driver.
The position of HGV Class 2 Driver has arisen within our Invergordon depot. The successful candidate must be motivated, great customer service skills and have an excellent work ethic. We have a small team at our depot, who are all hard working and friendly so the successful candidate must be good at working in at team but also be able to use own initiative.
Drivers are a vital part of our company. Each driver is responsible for working with fellow Team Members and Management; in a joint effort to ensure our customers are the number one priority by making each interaction a positive one and building a memorable relationship with each event, going above and beyond to help our customers. Drivers perform their daily responsibilities and contribute to the Company’s overall goal of operating efficiently, effectively and profitably.
Full Training will be provided.
Hours:
40 hours per week, Mon-Fri. Candidate must be flexible with hours as in winter you may be required to work overtime.
Wages paid weekly.
Advantageous:
Knowledge of local and surrounding area .
Clean driving license preferred.
Forklift license.
Required:
Full Cat C entitlement
Valid drivers CPC card
Valid Digital tachograph card

Main roles and responsibilities:
- Demonstrating good heath and safety practices.
- Loading vehicle for deliveries.
- Unloading products at customers properties.
- Ensuring good housekeeping while at the depot.
- Manual handling.
- Daily vehicle checks and report any problems to manager immediately.
- Must be physically fit to lift 40kg sack of coal.
- Handling of money and writing out receipts for customers on delivery.
