Zen Educate are recruitingdedicated SEN Teachers to work across multiple specialist SEND schools in South Tyneside.
These roles are based in specialist provisions supporting children and young people aged 4–19, with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, PMLD and MLD. You’ll be teaching in supportive, well-structured environments where individualised learning, care, and inclusion are at the heart of everything.

Role details
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
- Immediate start
- £130+ per day, depending on experience and aligned with pay scale
- Opportunity to go temp to perm for the right candidate
What we’re looking for
- QTS and UK classroom experience
- DBS or willing to to get one
- Experience working with children in SEN or SEND settings
- An understanding of SEN practices (SEMH, ASD, PMLD, MLD, ADHD)
- A flexible, enthusiastic, and reliable approach
- Open to working across different schools, needs, and age groups
(Experience with ABA or early years is beneficial but not essential.)
