About Oak Farm
Oak Farm Clinic is a purpose built 38 bedded unit which provides a comprehensive service to clients recovering from acquired brain injury and neurological disorders.
Responsibilities/General duties:
To assist our maintenance man with the following:
Decorating bedrooms/shared areas/corridors such as painting/wallpapering etc
General maintenance person duties
Basic plumbing work
Health and Safety checks throughout the home
Maintaining gardens and general upkeep of the building
Liaise with outside companies and head office regarding health and safety/maintenance issues
Daily update via maintenance log to Home Manager on jobs done
Experience and qualifications you will need:
Prior experience working in a similar role in a care/nursing home would be ideal
Relevant Health and Safety qualifications would be desirable
Good Health and Safety awareness
Basic plumbing skills required
Must be able to drive
Must be willing to work outside of working hours to suit the needs of the home and in emergency situations
