Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.88 per hour + Bonus Scheme
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Goods In Person to join our busy warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Signs for deliveries and ensures the number of packages received matches the delivery driver's paperwork
- Opens and inspects incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from damage.
- Carefully counts, weighs, or measures items to verify that they exactly match the original purchase order.
- Flags any damaged goods, missing items, or incorrect deliveries immediately.
- Communicates directly with the purchasing department to resolve shortages and arrange returns.
- Manages all physical paperwork, delivery notes, and digital logs for auditing purposes
- Transports received goods to their designated locations.
- Keeping the Goods In area clean, organised, and safe
- Stock checks on existing stock in the Warehouse
Requirements:
- Forklift truck licence is desirable but not essential as inhouse training can be done.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
