The salary will be VBSS Support Band Specialist 1 £31,263 per annum. This is a spot salary.
You will be part of a proactive finance team that plays a key role in supporting the College’s strategic and operational objectives. The team is responsible for raising financial awareness at all levels of the organisation, delivering accurate and timely statutory, management and financial information, and carrying out the College’s financial accounting transactions.
You will contribute to the development and improvement of financial information processes to support effective analysis and informed business decision-making. The role also involves promoting compliance with the College’s financial regulations, acting as a trusted and approachable first point of contact for colleagues seeking financial advice and support, and building strong relationships across the College to provide value-added business support.
The team aims to be a benchmark for professional behaviour and to become embedded in decision-making processes at every level, continually improving internal processes to add value to the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting organisational change during periods of growth, possess broad commercial and public or education sector experience, and have a proven ability to deliver financial services that add value to the organisation.
