Production Supervisor
In this role, you will work closely with the Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our industrial laundry facility, ensuring a safe and productive environment for your team. You will be responsible for running 2 shifts and leading a small team of production operators to maintain the high standards of quality, output, and service that our customers expect.
1. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Production Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth running of the Facility including booking, wash process, quality control and despatch.
- Supervise, coach and develop operators on processes safely and in line with company policies and lead continuous improvement throughout the production process.
- Lead daily shift briefs to the staff and highlight any issues affecting the daily production.
- Ensure that levels of Rejects are monitored and logged with corrective actions implemented, if necessary, via route cause analysis.
- Complete shift handovers to ensure communication and performance are maintained.
- Monitor output and work to exceed daily production targets - Share visual management information.
- Ensure timely completion of units with a focus on quality and KPI achievement
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping, including external areas
- Be responsible for start-up in the morning and shut-down at the end of the shift, depending on rota

- Has the ability to understand and operate machinery (training provided)
3. What You’ll Be Doing
- Shadowing the Production Manager and Supervisor during training to gain hands-on experience
- Gaining a full understanding of production processes with the goal of training others in the future
- Maintaining workflow and ensuring production targets are consistently met and exceeded
- Implementing and ensuring health & safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace
- Assisting in production departments as needed
- Monitoring inventory levels and optimising the use of supplies

5. Job Type, Hours, Location
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours & Shift Flexibility: This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). Due to the operational nature of the business, the successful candidate must be able to work flexibly across morning and afternoon shifts in line with production requirements.
