Electrician – Social Housing
Location: South East London
Salary: £27.07 per hour
Contract: Full-time, temporary
We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrician to carry out disrepair and void works for a social housing client across Stevaneg.
This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work for a reliable and professional electrician who understands the demands of social housing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical works in void and occupied social housing properties
- Disrepair works including fault finding, repairs, and remedials
- Installation and replacement of electrical components
- Testing, inspection, and certification (EICRs where required)
- Working to agreed schedules and maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Completing paperwork and reports accurately
- Providing a professional and courteous service to tenants and clients
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 or equivalent testing & inspection qualification
- Experience working within social housing
- Knowledge of disrepair and void processes
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
