Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Care Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home specialising in senior care, including dementia and Alzheimer's care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the care team to deliver personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Oversee daily operations within the care home, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and support staff members, promoting professional development and maintaining high standards of practice.
- Coordinate medication administration in accordance with prescribed protocols, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Conduct assessments of new residents and develop comprehensive care plans that reflect their individual requirements.
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care, staff rotas, and regulatory compliance.
- Foster positive relationships with residents’ families, providing updates and ensuring their involvement in care decisions.
- Organise training sessions on dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and other specialised areas to enhance team expertise.
- Ensure the safety of residents by implementing risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
Experience
- Proven management experience within assisted living or nursing home environments.
- Extensive background in nursing or senior care roles, with particular expertise in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading a team within a care home or home care setting.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for adult social care services in the UK.
- Familiarity with developing personalised care plans and managing medication administration processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
