Sherwood Aluminium Systems Ltd, a midlands-based manufacturer of fenestration products requires a fenestration contracts / projects manager for immediate start, working on major projects as well as projects of a high technical or logistical complexity.

THE JOB: You will be responsible for overseeing projects with a high technical or logistical complexity on a nationwide basis. Liaising with all main contractors including being involved with procurement and dealing with customers and fabricators. Involved from project inception and supporting all elements towards completion. Carrying out site surveys to ascertain manufacturing sizes to enable our drawing office to produce construction / manufacturing drawings Ensure that all steps are taken to successfully complete projects in a timely manner with realistic and achievable time frames Running multiple projects simultaneously Liaising and constantly communicating with site management and sub-contractors Maintain relations with main contractors and attend meetings on site Be dedicated and willing to put in the hours required, to achieve results and deadlines
KEY SKILLS: Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written Good understanding of construction contracts Computer literate. Must be able to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and auto CAD Articulate Great attention to detail Must have a full driving licence CSCS card holder Experience of working in the glazing and fenestration industry Professional and positive approach Self-motivated & enthusiastic Strong in building relationships & able to communicate at all levels Team player and able to work on own initiative.
LOCATION: Office based in Mansfield with nationwide coverage, the right candidate will need to be commutable throughout the UK, Wales and Scotland.
THE PERSON: We are seeking a proven fenestration or facade project manager with a strong understanding of procurement elements. The ideal candidate will have proven success working on a range of commercial projects.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
