Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse team, ensure food safety standards, and contribute to a memorable guest experience. Previous restaurant, hotel, or culinary experience is highly desirable, along with supervising and team management skills.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage service activities to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency
- Manage daily staffing schedules, delegate tasks, and support team members in their roles
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and service areas
- Assist in training new staff members on food production, serving procedures, and safety protocols
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies; place orders as necessary to maintain inventory
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the establishment’s reputation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menus that meet guest preferences and dietary requirements
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality service, fostering a positive team environment
- Report to the F&B Manager
Skills
- Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management capabilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable within the hospitality industry
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating staff and maintaining high service standards
- Experience in serving guests efficiently while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
- Background in hospitality or barista services is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities whilst ensuring consistent quality of service
