The Role of SMT Operator:
- Operate Surface Mount production lines to meet production schedules.
- Carry out PCB assembly tasks including solder paste printing, loading pick-and-place machines, and inspection before and after reflow.
- Read and interpret drawings, parts lists, and production documentation.
- Follow documented procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and housekeeping within the SMT area.
- Report product or process issues to supervisors promptly.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Support team training and continuous improvement activities.
The Person for the SMT Operator:
- Previous machine set-up and operating experience
- SMT programming experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
