Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic environment, with responsibilities spanning from guest reception to assisting in food and beverage service. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly, professional welcome upon arrival
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all front-of-house areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously
- Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages
- Assist in setting up tables, organising reservations, and managing guest flow during busy periods
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is preferred; restaurant experience or barista experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
- A proactive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required
- A genuine interest in hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
