Part-Time Football Coach (Northamptonshire)
Locations: Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering and Daventry
Salary: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Evening coaching sessions only (1.5–3 hours per evening, depending on centre)
Contract: Part-Time (Term-Time Only / Academic Year)

We are Football Development Schools, The leading football coaching company operating across the East Midlands, specialising in the individual development of young players and creating pathways into professional football environments.
We are proud to work in partnership with Aston Villa Football Club and its Academy, supporting talented young footballers through high-quality coaching programmes designed to maximise their potential. Currently at 280 players signed at professional football clubs and over 30 Full time professional footballers.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and professional Football Coaches to deliver sessions at our centres in Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering and Daventry.
The Role

You will deliver engaging, challenging and enjoyable coaching sessions that focus on individual technical development while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality football coaching sessions.
- Support the development of players aged across our pathway programmes.
- Create a positive, professional and inclusive learning environment.
- Inspire and motivate young players to maximise their potential.
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain excellent communication with players, parents and colleagues.
- Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times.
- Represent the company professionally within local communities and partner venues.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- UEFA C Licence (FA Level 2) or equivalent coaching qualification.
- Current FA Safeguarding Children qualification.
- Current FA First Aid qualification (or relevant FA-recognised emergency aid certificate).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience coaching children and young people within a football environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- All coaching qualifications and mandatory certifications must be valid and up to date.
Desirable Requirements
- UEFA B Licence.
- Experience working within academy, development centre or talent pathway programmes.
- Experience delivering individual player development programmes.
- Knowledge of talent identification and player progression pathways.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
