Refrigerated Vehicle Rental is a family owned & run business specialising in the hire and sale of refrigerated vehicles from small vans to 18t trucks. Established in 2000 and based in Exeter, we now supply vehicles to customers across the UK.
Job Description:
Full time position split into 2 roles
- Driver- Collecting & delivery vehicles across the UK, performing vehicle handover checks & explaining operation of the vehicle to customers during handover
- Valeter- Ensuring all vehicles are cleaned and checked prior to rental, preforming damage checks on vehicles and reporting any faults for rectification prior to hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out deliveries and collection as required
- Perform vehicle handovers with customers, give clear instructions on vehicle operation and record any damage to the vehicle. Help with any customer queries at handover
- Ensure all vehicles are cleaned, checked & tested prior to hire
- Report any possible vehicle faults for rectification
Job Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence- Category C (Class 2) licence preferred
- Previous valeting experience preferred
- Friendly & professional demeanour with excellent communication & customer service skills
- Hard working & punctual- ability to plan ahead, meet deadlines & work independently.
- Flexibility to work overtime at short notice, including early mornings & evenings.
