Dental Receptionist – Saving Smiles Weedon

Hours: Tuesday Wednesday and Friday, with flexibility - (8am–6pm)

We are looking for a confident and organised Dental Receptionist to join our team and help us deliver an outstanding experience to every patient who walks through our door.
Job Summary
As our Dental Receptionist, you will be the first smiling face our patients meet. You’ll play a key role in managing the front desk, supporting our clinicians and nurses, ensuring the smooth running of the practice. If you have experience in dental or medical reception and enjoy providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
· Welcome patients and visitors with a warm, professional greeting
· Schedule and manage appointments efficiently using Carestream R4 Plus
(full training provided)
· Maintain and update patient records accurately
· Handle phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
· Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
· Work closely with clinicians to support a positive patient experience
· Keep the reception area clean, organised, and presentable at all times
Skills & Qualities We are Looking For
· Strong administrative and organisational skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Friendly, confident, and patient-centred approach
· Ability to multitask in a busy environment
· Familiarity with office software and equipment
· Previous dental or medical reception experience is preferred
