Responsibilities
- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of equipment and workstations to facilitate production processes.
- Supporting team members in carrying out operational tasks, including handling materials and supplies.
- Conducting routine inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout the workplace.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within designated work areas to promote a safe environment.
- Assisting with inventory management by organising stock and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Supporting specialised teams with additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations at all times during daily activities.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar operative or labouring role is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to undertake physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual handling activities.
