Day-to-day responsibilities
- Processing customer transactions accurately at the till, including cash, card, and contactless payments
- Receiving and checking deliveries against stock orders
- Replenishing and rotating stock in line with store display standards
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented shop floor throughout the day
- Responding to customer queries in a helpful and professional manner
- Assisting with regular stock counts and inventory management
- Supporting opening and closing procedures as part of the wider team rota
The right candidate
- Punctual, dependable, and takes genuine pride in the standard of their work
- Friendly and approachable, with good communication skills
- Physically comfortable being on their feet throughout a shift in a fast-paced setting
- Able to work confidently both independently and alongside a team
- Numerate and comfortable handling all payment types accurately
- Available Monday to Friday with flexibility for weekend cover on a rota basis
No previous retail experience is essential — full training will be provided.

- Weekend availability: Required on a rota basis, to be discussed at interview
