Overview
The Two Brewers in Northaw, are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and hospitality, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The Two Brewers is under Head Chef Paul Cooke and with a real focus on food and building a great community pub in Northaw.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout shifts
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Bar service and knowlesge of wine would help
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during shifts
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales potential
