iRecruit4 are currently recruiting for a Class 2 driver to support multi-drop work for a new client. The role involves structured delivery work within a transport operation, with set routes and scheduled working patterns. It would suit a driver who is able to work independently and is looking for ongoing block bookings when available throughout the year.
Hours, Pay & Benefits for Class 2 driver:
- Working hours: 07:00am – 15:15pm
- £565 Per Week
- Overtime available and paid accordingly
- Ongoing block bookings available throughout the year
- Structured, well-organised delivery routes
- Minimal manual handling involved
Duties for Class 2 driver:
- Class 2 multidrop deliveries using a curtain side vehicle
- Deliveries within a 60-mile radius of Swindon
- Between 6–12 drops per shift depending on route
- Majority of deliveries are forklift on / forklift off
- Occasional use of tail lift or manual handling where required
- Ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently to customer sites
Requirements for Class 2 driver:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules
- Willingness to complete site induction prior to start
- Licence checks required before commencing work
- Hi-vis vest and safety footwear required at all times
