In this role, you will be responsible for conducting MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough MOT tests on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards.
- Identify any defects or issues during inspections and provide detailed reports.
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding test results and necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during testing procedures.
- Assist in general maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle testing or maintenance.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in automotive repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during inspections.
