We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Residential Child Care Worker to join our children’s residential home supporting young people
The successful candidate will lead shifts, supervise care staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care in line with safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations. You will promote a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that supports positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and guide the care team to meet the individual needs of young people
- Deliver direct, therapeutic support to children and young people
- Work collaboratively with external professionals to achieve the best outcomes
- Provide supervision and support to staff in line with regulatory standards
- Lead and contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings (Clinical & Education)
- Support the Deputy and Registered Manager in achieving service objectives
- Uphold safeguarding standards and promote a positive, nurturing environment
Requirements
- Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting young people in residential care
- Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
- Full UK Driving License
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
