Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and proactive experienced Part-time Sales Assistant to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash or card payments
- Answer customer queries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and organising stockroom areas
- Keep the sales floor clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times
- Skills
- Previous retail experience required
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash reconciliation
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Good phone etiquette when dealing with customer enquiries remotely
- Organisational skills to maintain a tidy sales environment and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Pay: £12.71-£18.00 per hour
