KH Resourcing are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment within our facilities. Duties
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools and power tools in accordance with technical specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect equipment for signs of wear or damage, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Assist with the installation of new machinery and upgrades within the warehouse or production area.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting or a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with assembly processes and mechanical components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is important.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals is desirable.
