Tea Time Club Assistant
Scale 1C (SCP 3) (£12.85 p/h)
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Teatime Club Assistant to join our team.
Role Details
· Position: Tea Time Club Assistant
· Hours: 3:00pm – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
· Contract: Term time only
· Start Date: 1st September 2026
There is flexibility for this role to be shared between more than one applicant, subject to availability and operational needs.
About the Role
You will help provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children at the end of the school day, supporting their wellbeing as they relax, eat, and take part in activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervising children during teatime sessions
· Preparing and serving light meals/snacks
· Supporting play and activities where appropriate
· Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
· Ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
· Working as part of a friendly team and communicating with parents/carers
We are looking for:
· A positive and caring attitude towards working with children
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Reliability and punctuality
· Previous childcare experience is desirable but not essential
· Relevant qualifications (e.g. childcare, safeguarding, first aid)
