Summary
Barnacre Road Primary School is seeking to appoint an Assistant SENDCO to support the leadership of provision for pupils with additional learning needs and to work closely with the SENDCO to secure excellent outcomes for all. The successful candidate will be committed to removing barriers to learning, using resources in thoughtful, effective and creative ways to meet the needs of individual pupils with additional and different learning needs.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent
- HLTA Status
Essential Experience
- Experience of working with children with special educational needs
- Relevant and recent CPD
Desirable Experience
- Experience of EHCP applications and reviews
Experience of teaching in EYFS/ KS1
