Thursday to Monday Nights - 1800 to 0600
Tuesday/Wednesday - OFF
Rate/Salary: £12.75 per hour, guaranteed 60 hours per week.
Job Description:
We have a new opportunity to join our team on a full-time basis working as a security officer. This will be based in a gatehouse on a site that operates in the warehouse/distribution industry in Leicester.
This is a busy site which is full of activity so you must be happy to work in a fast faced environment, able to multitask and work calm under pressure.
Your daily work will help protect our client’s site, property and valuable assets, resulting in a very satisfying role with significant potential.
You will be the ambassadors for our client; one of the first people that contractors and staff see on arrival, setting the tone and ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Some of the duties will include:
· Ensuring no unauthorised persons access site
· Booking vehicles on and off-site using a live updating system
· Patrolling site
· Monitoring staff access
· Monitoring CCTV cameras
· Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported to the control room
· Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

Security officer requirements:
· Valid Frontline SIA Licence
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
· Computer literacy is essential, confident using computer systems
· Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a busy environment
· 5 year+ checkable work history in line with BS 7858
· Smart and presentable portraying a professional image
· Ability to write clear and concise reports
· Excellent time management skills
· A dynamic decision maker
