The Role
Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operations of the setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of childcare professionals.
- Supporting staff development, training, and performance management.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment across the nursery.
- Ensuring outstanding standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are met at all times.
- Maintaining strict compliance with EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and families.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: A relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or above).
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior or leadership nursery role.
- Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
- Passion: A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional childcare and continuously developing your professional skills.
