We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Wagon & Drag HIAB Driver to join our team. The role involves transporting bricks and blocks to various sites across the UK using a wagon and drag setup with a Atlas 125.2 crane.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safe loading and unloading using the lorry mounted crane, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a manual DAF XF wagon and drag vehicle
- Transporting bricks and blocks to construction sites and builders merchants nationwide.
- Operating lorry mounted crane for loading and unloading materials
- Ensuring all loads are secure and delivered safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
- Following all driver hours and road safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- HIAB certificate / experience operating lorry mounted crane.
- Experience with wagon and drag vehicles
- Must be competent driving a manual 3over3 DAF XF.
- Nights out are essential for this role
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good understanding of driver hours and transport regulations
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
