Guardians Recruitment is recruiting bank/agency support workers to pick up shifts as and when needed for our clients across multiple locations.
This role is ideal if you want flexible work that fits around other commitments, with the option to take shifts that suit your availability. This role involves providing compassionate care and supporting vulnerable and complex children/young adults in and out of their home on an adhoc basis.
As a Support Worker, you will be key in helping our young people with everyday living. This is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results on the young people in our care. Your ambition for the people you supports will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential. You will be providing best-in-class care and support for children and young people who have behaviours that may challenge and mental health needs. We endeavour to create a home environment that exceeds the needs of the children and young people, enabling them to express their characters, feel safe, and enrich their lives.
Working as a Children's Support Worker, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood.
In return, you will be rewarded with a career defining opportunity to impact on an ambitious and growing organisation that is committed to staff retention, development, and equality.
