As a Housekeeping Attendant at The View Hotel Eastbourne, you will play a key part in providing an exceptional welcome to our guests, ensuring they are looked after and attended to in a timely and professional manner. You will clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms, ensure linen is laundered, and amenities are replenished. You will comply fully with all regulations relating to Health Safety, Food Handling, Fire Procedures and COSHH, helping to uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellent customer service and ensuring guests enjoy a first-class, comfortable stay.
This is a fixed-term summer role (July–October initially), and flexibility is essential. A commitment to working at least 2–3 shifts per week, including weekends, is required.
- Attention to detail: it’s essential that you have a keen eye for detail to ensure guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained
- Time management skills: able to manage workload effectively to ensure rooms are cleaned within required timeframes
- Communication skills: able to communicate effectively with guests and team members, including responding to requests and queries
- Most importantly, you will be passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience and living our brand standards
