Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the new ACIS commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces as required
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries to maintain stock levels
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and time management to complete tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene and safety protocols
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies when necessary
This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean and welcoming environments. Prior experience in janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Applicants should be organised, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Pay: £13.40 per hour
