Part Time - Evenings & Weekends
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our Sports & Wellness team.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from tension through sports & therapeutic massage techniques as well as a Hot Stone Massage qualification or willing to work towards.
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients.
We specialise in Hot Stone Sports Massage treatments and are looking to increase our team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and preferences before each session.
- Provide various massage techniques, including relaxation, deep tissue, and sports massage, tailored to individual client requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
- Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
- Hours of work would be evenings and Weekends. Open to discussion and further advancement.
- Pay is based on treating one client for 45minutes. Role is paid for the treatments provided.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or in a similar role is preferred. Ideally Sports Massage Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential to ensure safe and effective treatments.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required. Must be Level 3 Sports Massge or above.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
- Ideally Hot Stone Massage trained or willing to work towards.
- Must have their own insurance.
- Work as a self employed individual - will be responsible for paying own tax and insurance.
