We are seeking a talented and professional Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
- Providing customised haircuts, colour treatments, blow-drying, styling, and finishing services tailored to client preferences
- Offering specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as part of the service menu
- Mentoring junior staff and apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge within the salon
- Managing front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and retail upselling
- Maintaining a clean and organised work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service
- Assisting with store management tasks when required, including stock replenishment and product displays
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barbering professional within a busy salon environment
- Demonstrable expertise in colour correction, styling techniques, and grooming services
- Experience in store management or supervisory roles is advantageous
- Skilled in customer service with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all backgrounds
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling techniques is desirable
- Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a positive team environment
