Each month we deliver 90,000 booklets to homes across Central Lancashire and we are recruiting for delivery team members to join our team in the Preston area, which consists of 6 self employed delivery staff.
Lee Distribution is a family run, company based in Leyland. We have been open for nearly 10 years and you probably know us best for our bright yellow, Local Coupon Booklet which hits the doormats of 270,000 homes across Central Lancashire.
Due to recent growth we are currently looking for motivated individuals to deliver local leaflets and booklets. We are looking for people to deliver our booklets in Preston.
You MUST;
- Be able to drive and navigate around the local area with ease.
- Have a good local knowledge of the local area.
- Ideally live in Preston or close by.
- Own a Iphone or Android phone, with relevant data package to run our free GPS tracking software.
- Have access to a PC to create your own invoices and manage your tax affairs. We can help with this.
- A good level of general fitness.
- Be flexible in your approach to work.
- A desire to want to do well.
It is essential you have;
- A full, valid driving licence.
- Access to your own car.
Committing to deliver at least 1,500 booklets every 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the hours you are available. This will take you between 4 - 12 hours to complete although actual numbers will vary depending on yourself, your level of fitness, knowledge of the local area and previous experience.
You will be paid £75 per 1,000 booklets, plus £10 per 1,000 leaflets, with a maximum of 6 leaflets. Average is 2 - 3. You will invoice at the end of each month and be paid directly in to your chosen bank account.
Interested candidates should apply by submitting a CV. All successful candidates will be have a telephone interview and then expected to complete a paid trial of booklets and associated leaflets by a pre-agreed deadline.
Please note the successful candidates will be required to use a GPS tracker during their working hours, as part of the role and collect stock from our warehouse in Chorley (PR7.)
