Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Scaffold Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and MUST have a CSCS card. This role requires the ability to work at heights, follow safety protocols, and collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on site. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
The sites we work on are in and around Essex, Kent, London, and the South East, and nationwide when required
Responsibilities
- Construct, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades such as masonry, painting, welding, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing to ensure seamless project execution.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for scaffold assembly and maintenance.
- Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety before use, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred.
- CSCS Card must be held
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to work at heights safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Valid certification in scaffold safety is an asset but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- Due to insurance purposes you MUST be over 25 to drive a fleet vehicle.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £98.00-£120.00 per day
