Mechanical Design Engineer
Our client a leading multi site global engineer company in Cookstown due to continued success are recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. They offer a range of benefits
Main Responsibilities
- Designing an innovate range of products from concept to completion
- Develop detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing, aligned to the company’s production processes and machinery
- Creating BOM lists
- Use CAD design software to create models and drawings of products
- As appropriate, to research and keep up to date with new materials, parts and methods of deployment
- Organise and maintain engineering records
- Ensure components and designs meet applicable industry and business standards
- Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured according to the drawing and designs, and to provide design engineering advice as required
Essential Criteria
- Engineering / design qualification.
- Minimum 5 year engineering experience
- In-depth knowledge of Solidworks/Revit
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively.
