Cleaner – Congleton and Surrounding Areas
Location: Congleton and surrounding areas
Hours: Minimum 7.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Hours per day: Minimum 1.5 hours per day
Pay: £13.00–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience
Additional hours: Potential for more hours for the right person
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and hard-working Cleaner to join our growing, well-established local cleaning company.
This role involves working in and around Congleton, carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard across different sites. It would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and can work independently.
The Role
You will be responsible for completing cleaning tasks at customer sites, ensuring all areas are left clean, tidy and presentable.
The role offers a minimum of 1.5 hours per day on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, with the potential for additional hours as the role develops.
Main Responsibilities
- Carrying out general cleaning duties
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Cleaning floors, surfaces, toilets, kitchens, communal areas and other required spaces
- Following cleaning schedules and site instructions
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
- Communicating professionally with customers when required
- Reporting any issues, damage or concerns promptly
About You
The ideal applicant will:
- Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Have good attention to detail
- Be able to work independently
- Manage their time well
- Have good communication skills
- Be friendly, professional and down to earth
- Ideally have previous cleaning experience, although training can be provided
Requirements
- Ability to travel around Congleton and surrounding areas
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle preferred
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Understanding of basic health and safety is desirable
