Job Overview
We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Glass Operatives to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in the assembly and handling of glass products within a warehouse environment. Duties
- Assist with the assembly and installation of glass components.
- Handle glass safely, ensuring minimal breakage and damage during processing
- Operate machinery and equipment related to glass fabrication under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the workspace to uphold health and safety standards
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specified standards
- Support warehouse activities such as loading, unloading, and storing glass materials
- Follow all safety protocols diligently, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Experience
- Knowledge of glass tempering operation or auto line manufacture is advantageous.
- Previous glass warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for understanding glass production machinery operations
- Familiarity with assembly processes or working within manufacturing environments is desirable
- Candidates should demonstrate good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team
