Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our vibrant and motived team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, booking in and goods out, and ensuring the store environment remains tidy, weekly stock take, purchase requisitions etc. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with organisational skills and a passion for retail operations to develop their career within a dynamic environment. Previous supervisory or administrative experience is advantageous, along with proficiency in ERP system, sage, MS Excel.

Duties
- Restock shelves and organise merchandise to ensure optimal presentation and accessibility
- Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of stockroom areas
- Support team members with administrative tasks related to stock management and store operations
- Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance on store procedures and customer service standards
- Utilise organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Use digital tools like ERP system, sage, MS Excel,
- Contribute to maintaining a welcoming store environment through effective merchandising and organisation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in supervising or leadership roles within retail or similar environments is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is desirable for creating visual content
- Multilingual abilities are considered an asset, facilitating communication with diverse customer groups
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Administrative experience related to stock control or retail operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated merchandising expertise with an eye for colour, layout, and presentation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities when required
Pay: £12.71 per hour
