Overview
We are urgently seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those eager to develop their skills in commercial cleaning. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Disinfect high-touch areas regularly to maintain health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as required
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied frequently
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning tasks
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a positive attitude and good time management skills
- Ability to start immediately and commit to scheduled shifts
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment or supplies
