The Job:
We are looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Electrician to work in a commercial environment.
As the work is primarily in a commercial environment, it will regularly contain periods of out of hours work. All work conducted outside of standard working hours is paid at a time and a half rate.
Standard hours are defined as:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 4:45pm Friday: 8:30am - 4pm
This role will be based primarily within sites within Northern Ireland.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure a high-level availability of all electrical plant and equipment
- Electrical fault-finding and diagnosis
- Electrical installation (3- phase) and panel work
- Machine installation, service and repair
- Complete all maintenance and reactive calls to all Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration and basic food prep assets and equipment
- Covering out of hours calls on a rota basis (currently 1 day in 6, moving to 1 in 7)
- Any other tasks to support the maintenance and facilities function

The ideal candidate should be/have:
- Apprentice trained Electrical Engineer
- C&G Electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 /17th/18th Edition
- Excellent fault finding/diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Highly motivated attitude to electrical safety
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use, diagnose and repair issues with the Building management system and Refrigeration alarms systems in conjunction with our specialist partners
