We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and committed Therapeutic Support Workers to join our team supporting children aged 11–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), trauma backgrounds, autism, and learning difficulties.

What you’ll be doing
- Building trusting, positive relationships with young people through consistency and care
- Providing day-to-day emotional and practical support in a residential home
- Supporting young people to develop life skills, independence, and confidence
- Implementing care plans and therapeutic approaches (including PACE-informed practice)
- Managing behaviours using de-escalation and safe systems of work (including PI where required)
- Supporting attendance at education, appointments, and activities
- Working alongside social workers, therapists, and clinical teams to achieve the best outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and safeguarding standards in line with Ofsted
- Contributing to a warm, homely environment where young people feel safe and valued
What we’re looking for
- Experience working with children or young people (residential, education, youth work, or similar)
- Understanding of trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and behaviour support
- Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays
- Full UK driving licence (Preferred)
- Age 21+
Desirable:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
