We require a Digital Marketing Executive to join our busy marketing department at Bury St Edmunds. The role is office based, 37.5 hours a week.
Job Summary
Are you a performance-driven digital marketer with a passion for PPC? Your focus will be on driving measurable results, including: increasing footfall to our four physical retail stores, supporting in-store sales, generating high-quality leads, driving traffic to our websites, growing online sales revenue and boosting brand awareness.
You’ll work across Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max and Video), Meta, Microsoft Advertising (Bing), and LinkedIn. You will be resposible for setting up campaigns, allocating budgets, using data and testing to continually improve campaign performance.
This role is ideal for someone analytical, curious and commercially minded, who enjoys problem-solving, optimising campaigns and improving efficiency through data-led decision making.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 1 year's hands-on campaign management across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Technical knowledge of Google Ads Manager, Google Ads Editor, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager and Excel or Sheets.
- Understanding of core marketing principles, online advertising concepts, bidding strategies, targeting methods and best practices.
- Experience using reporting and visualisation tools, such as Looker Studio.
Your Responsibilities:
- Run multi-channel Paid Media campaigns across Google, Meta, Bing and LinkedIn.
- Manage day-to-day campaign performance, testing and optimisation.
- Drive high-quality traffic to our physical retail locations and websites.
- Monitor and improve conversion rates and overall campaign efficiency.
- Produce clear performance reports, insights and recommendations.
- Website and landing page optimisation to improve ad quality.
- Staying up-to-date with training, search engine algorithm updates, digital tools, creative campaign techniques and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
Google Ads Certified or higher education in a marketing-related subject is preferred, but not essential.
Nice to Have:
Additional experience in any of the following would be advantageous, but not essential: graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, video creation and editing (including Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects), SEO/GEO, platforms such as SEMrush and Google Search Console, HubSpot or other CRM systems.
