The Band 3 Receptionist will provide a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house service within the Urology Diagnostic Unit at St Albans City Hospital. The post-holder will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and clinical staff, ensuring a smooth patient journey
from arrival to departure.
They will manage reception duties including greeting and admitting in patients, maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating appointment flows, and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks.
The role requires excellent communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering highquality patient care.
The post-holder will uphold the Trust’s values, maintain confidentiality at all times, and contribute to creating a positive, patient-focused environment within the diagnostic unit.
