Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Gas & Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintenence of gas boilers, Pumps, Flue Systems and other equipment.
This role requires a strong understanding of gas safety regulations and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Install, service, and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and fires.
- Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Diagnose faults in gas appliances and systems, providing effective solutions for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including service reports and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with clients to provide advice on gas safety and appliance maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Gas Engineering (e.g., Gas Safe Register certification).
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of gas appliances.
- Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
