Intent Productions specialise in the sale, hire and installation of stretch tents and event structures across the UK. Our clients include major festivals, live event producers, hospitality venues and private clients. We design, supply and install bespoke structures year-round.
Alongside our stretch tent work, we have developed a specialist structural installation service - concreted steel posts, brackets and bespoke fixing systems - that forms the foundation of our most ambitious builds. The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, physically capable installer to join the team as we grow our groundworks and structural installation offering.
Approximately **70% of the role** is focused on steel post and groundworks installations - concreting posts, installing brackets and fixings, drilling, and preparing sites for structural builds. These projects typically run 3–4 days and involve multiple posts and fixings across varied sites.
The remaining **30%** involves working alongside our stretch tent installation crew - loading, rigging, de-rigging and maintaining equipment.
This is a varied, active role that takes you up and down the country. You will work closely with an experienced team member and, over time, we expect you to develop into someone who can lead jobs independently.

What We're Looking For
We need someone practically minded, physically capable and self-motivated. This is not a passive role — we want someone who takes initiative and takes pride in doing physical work properly.
Relevant experience includes:
- Groundworks or civil works
- Agricultural, or farm work
- Tree surgery or arboriculture
- Landscape gardening
- General building or labouring
- Any outdoor, physically demanding trade
You must be comfortable digging and working in the ground for extended periods — typical days will involve 4–5 hours of active groundwork. Some days will be digging, some drilling, some concreting, some installing and rigging.
Above all, we value reliability, a strong work ethic and a genuine desire for a varied, outdoor career that sits outside the conventional trades.

Driving
A **full, clean UK driving licence** is essential. You will be required to drive a long-wheelbase van to and from sites across the UK.

Hours & Contract
- **Contract:** Fixed term to end of November 2026, with strong potential to move into a permanent full-time role as this part of the business grows
- **Contracted hours: Minimum of 32 hours per week (5-day week)
- **Typical working day: 7am–5pm (8-10-hour days are standard)
- **Start times: Usually between 6am and 8am — flexibility with early starts is essential
- **Weekend work: Available but optional — only by mutual agreement, not required under contract

Travel & Staying Away
Many of our sites are UK-wide. When overnight stays are required, we cover hotel accommodation and pay per diems (PDs). Travel and accommodation are organised and covered by the company.

Pay & Progression
**Starting rate: £15.00 per hour**
For the right person, there is genuine scope for growth. As you take on responsibility and begin leading installations independently, pay and role level will increase accordingly. We are actively investing in this part of the business and want the right candidate to grow with it.
